Edinburg Foltz Plant Slaughter & Packaging Costs

Beef 
   Slaughter Price processed by Gore's $60 per head
   Slaughter Price processed elsewhere $70 per head
        Extra charge for cattle 30 months or older $50

   Paper Wrap $0.55 per lb hanging weight
   Paper Wrap, Weigh & Label $0.60 per lb hanging weight

   Vacuum Wrap $0.60 per lb hanging weight
   Vacuum Wrap, Weigh & Label $0.75 per lb hanging weight

   Ground Beef in 1 lb sealed bags (red and white bags with farm scene)    are included in wrapping charge. If you want Ground Beef paper or vacuum wrapped an upcharge of $0.15 per lb will be incurred. For Paper or Vacuum Weigh & Label a charge of $0.25 per lb is added.

     Slaughter Price $55 per head

     Vacuum Wrap Skinned hogs $0.60 per lb hanging weight (for traditional cut up hogs)
     Vacuum Wrap Scalded hogs $0.45 per lb (for hogs to be cured *Gore's does not cure meat)
     * Hogs over 300 lbs $0.10 charge live weight

     Sausage in 1 lb sealed bags are included in wrapping charge. 3 sausage seasoning flavors are available, or bring in your own. 
            >* Mild (salt and pepper seasoning)
            >* Sage (Mild + Sage)
            >* Hot (breakfast level spicy, with salt and pepper and a bit of sage)
